Also take note that you rarely have to pay the long-distance charges on calls like these as a recording is usually made available.

What's This All About?

Okay, what is this blog all about?

Here's the thing -- I'm tired of subscribing to "marketing newsletters" and getting nothing but advertisements from the publisher. Don't you hate that?

I want content, people!

An occasional ad is okay, but some people's entire "newsletter" has nothing but prefab sales copy written by someone else and downloaded from some affiliate "promotional tools" page.

To combat this type of reader abuse, I'm planning on starting a newsletter/blog that will just be Pure Marketing. None of those ads masquerading as articles, no solo ads, just marketing information.

But it occurs to me that occasionally things of value do pop-up in those ads. That's what this is for. This is going to be a place to shove the offers (the "deals and steals") that I think 1) are actually valuable, or 2) think you should know about.

If you're looking for marketing freebies and valuable stuff, this is the place to keep an eye on.
